Annemiek van der Wilt often works with the subjects ‘needlework’ and ‘mending clothes’. Themes that relate to ´slow living´, sustainability, feminism and traumahealing. With a background in communication and writing, language is for her a material to work with. She has a preference for archive materials. Grids and lines are never far away in her works.
